StartNet has been included in the European Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition organised by the European Commission. The Coalition is a European level initiative aimed at sharing good practices and strengthening digital skills for both work and life. In particular, StartNet will support two objectives of the Coalition: equal access to digital skills for all and digital skills in education. The COVID-19 emergency has further accelerated digital transformation and in the e-learning era, digital skills are increasingly becoming a prerequisite for work in the education sector. Therefore, measures for the transition from education to work must pay more attention to the development of these skills, for the labour market and beyond.
StartNet is grateful to the European Commission for this recognition and support. As a member of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships, the exchange with other European initiatives in this field is greatly enriching and constantly improving the work with young people in the field.
