Economies and labour markets are rapidly changing. Fostered by environmental crises and climate change, labour market trends are moving towards environmental conservation and sustainability, concurring at the same time with advancing digital technology, automation, and AI.
How do these transformations challenge vocational orientation and training in European countries? What skills should young people acquire and what have been until now their career paths preferences?
In the framework of the Erasmus+ project PAFF Parcours for the future StartNet is hosting the online conference on future European labour market and VET challenges on the 17th of October 2023 from 10.00-12.00, in partnership with lead partner Life e.V. (Germany), and consortium partners Alfa (Italy), ARNO (North Macedonia), Goethe-Institut Brüssel (Germany), GINNLab Goethe-Institut Innovation Lab (Italy) and Scoala de Valori (Romania) .
Experts, practitioners and network partners will present the first findings on current and future trends in Germany, Italy, Northern Macedonia and Romania and EU-wide, as well as open the floor to a debate about future skills and challenges and solutions for vocational orientation. The event is open to educational stakeholders, especially the community of school and education practitioners in partner countries and on a European level.
